About Constantin

I'm a Greek architect based in London, and I explore Mediterranean architecture through two mediums: essays and silk design.

Born on an island in the Aegean, I've spent 20 years as an architect working on projects from London to the Middle East. Mediterranean culture has always been my deepest interest: the light, the patterns, the layered history embedded in buildings from ancient Greece to Belle Époque France.

BLUEMATERIALS started as a way to translate what I notice in architecture into something tangible. Some observations become designs. Others become writing. All of them are ways of looking closer at the places that shape Mediterranean memory.

The essays capture the way I experience the architecture. The silk designs come naturally, as patterns and colours I've encountered in buildings, mosaics and decorations. I hand-draw each design in London and work with silk specialists in Macclesfield, England's historic silk town, to produce them.

This isn't a fashion brand. It's a cultural platform exploring architecture through writing and design. If you're interested in where patterns come from, why buildings matter, and how place shapes culture, you're in the right place.
